Where Do We Go from Here?

What do you hope to “accomplish” going forward in your life? Maybe you dream of sailing to the Galapagos Islands, or you want play at least 9 holes of golf every day, or you expect to watch your talented grandchild play for the NFL or get elected to office – or maybe you just hope to hit the lottery? (Probability of this actually happening is no limit on aspirations.)

We still hope to . . .

I am not sure that “accomplish” is the right verb here.  Maybe “do” would suffice.  I am trying to have some positive impact on our community in Missoula, MT via volunteering as a writing coach in local middle schools and high schools.  I am also part of a team working to provide job opportunities to long-term unemployed in our community.

I also work at keeping myself healthy and physically active so that I can play an active role in the lives of my grandchildren grow and watch them grow and develop over the years to come.  I hope to be able to provide some educational and travel experiences at the appropriate time for them as well to help broaden their horizons. — Jim Hogan
